NTSE Exam Syllabus

NTSE Stage I Syllabus

• SAT: The syllabus for Mathematics, Science and Social Science will be broadly based on the prescribed respective State Board Syllabus from Std 10 (or in exceptions, Std 9) textbooks only.
• MAT: The syllabi will comprise all fundamental lessons of verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

NTSE Stage II Syllabus

SAT: The Mathematics and Science questions will be asked from the chapters in the syllabus of class 9th and 10th (advanced level). Social Studies is completely based on the NCERT book for CBSE students for Class 9th and 10th.

MAT: The syllabi will comprise all fundamental lessons of verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

Scholarships and Awards

The following scholarships are awarded to the selected students:-

• (a) Scholarship of Rs. 1,250/- per month for XI and XII.
• (b) Scholarship of Rs. 2,000/- per month for Undergraduates and Post-Graduates.
• (c) Scholarship for Ph.D. is fixed as per UGC norms
• (d)Students of professional courses can avail scholarship up to post-graduation level while all other can avail scholarship up to Ph.D. level.
